Qualification Credit Frameworks (QCFs) are work-based Apprenticeships which help to develop and accredit the skills of the workforce. They are achieved through the demonstration of skills.

Achieving an Apprenticeship shows you can do a job to the national standards and have the up-to-date skills which employers are looking for. In terms of work, an Apprenticeship which proves you can do a job competently is a valuable possession.

Vocational training now incorporates both Intermediate Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships which have been designed to feature high-quality, practical, work-based training and incorporate specified Functional Skills together with QCFs.
